Today is a great day all around. It is my moms 50th birthday today, and she was able to come up to Raleigh to watch Mike get sworn in to the Navy. We took her out for a little birthday lunch at one of her favorite restaurant's, The Cheesecake Factory after the enlistment. Which leads me to.....
As of today, Mike is officially in the U.S Navy! He had to fill out about an hour of paperwork and then I was able to "swear him in". He will finish out school at UNC and then after that who knows where we will end up, but we are excited about it. If he decides to specialize, we could be in NC another few years after he finishes dental school for specialization residency, but we will see!
