Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to the Costa family blog. We decided with our crazy schedules this would be a good way for us to let everyone know what is going on in our lives right now. We hope you enjoy!

Prévoir Photography was founded as an entity of Prévoir Special Events just this past June! Although Erin is the one behind the camera, she couldn't do it all without her husband Mike and fantastic business partner, Stacey. Our goal with this blog is to share with you our current photo projects, every day happenings and stories of us and our wonderful clients. We hope our love for photography shines through and you enjoy what you see. We welcome any feedback and would love to hear from you! Enjoy :)

Now it's even easier to follow the Costa's antics & some news!

Hey everyone! After moving Prevoir Special Event's blog to Posterous, I decided to move our Catch Up With the Costa's blog as well! You can now follow us our family blog at http://catchupwiththecostas.posterous.com! Follow us to see what we're getting ourselves into...

It's only the second week in January, but dental school is back into full swing. I've already had one exam and have another two exams next week...fun! Last Thursday in the middle of class I received a very special email - I was accepted into the Navy Health Services Collegiate Program (HSCP)! After nearly 5 months of waiting I was finally accepted! Needless to say, Erin was SUPER excited and we celebrated by eating some delicious unlimited sushi at Orchid Japanese Restaurant in Raleigh...yes I said unlimited! So what's the Navy HSCP? Well in a nutshell, I'll be an active member of the Navy for the next three years (while completing dental school at UNC) and then when I graduate I'll become an Officer in the Dental Navy Corps. From there we're not sure where we'll end up, but that's kind of what we're excited about - getting to travel & live in places we may not have considered. Fortunately many of the Navy bases are very close to beach - not too shabby. So, on Thursday Jan 20th, I'll be sworn in as an Ensign in the Navy! Erin took off of work for the special occasion - I'm sure she'll post some pictures afterwards!

This weekend we drove up to Washington, DC and stopped by to visit Marc in his new apartment in Hyattsville, MD. He is most certainly living the bachelor's life - beer, water & bread in the fridge; no furniture & sleeping on an inflatable mattress. Fortunately he'll be starting work at Geico tomorrow as a mobile IT consultant. Good luck Marc! Anywho, we got dinner at Clyde's in Georgetown and then decided to head back to NC afterwards to decompress & relax. We're looking forward to visiting DC again, albeit briefly, before we fly out of Dulles to Paris, France for spring break along with the Drapers (more on this later!). Hope everyone has a great long weekend if you have MLK Day off on Monday!

Feel free to leave comments on our new Posterous blog! Thanks for catching up with us :)
